Defending Inter Dominion champion Lennytheshark has been scratched from the $1.1 million Inter Dominion Final (2936m) at Gloucester Park on Friday night.

The withdrawal of the David Aiken-trained Lennytheshark paves the way for the Michael Brennan-trained The Bucket List to gain a start in the race.

Lennytheshark pulled up sore following a shock defeat in the final round of qualifying heats when beaten by Run Oneover who forged to the front in the early-to-mid stages of the race.

Aiken posted on Twitter on Thursday afternoon that Lennytheshark had been withdrawn after another setback on Thursday morning.

First emergency The Bucket List will move into barrier four which was the barrier drawn by Lennytheshark.
