Rosehill Gardens is one of Sydney’s premier racecourses and hosts nine Group 1 races throughout the year.
The track is approximately 23 kilometres to the west of Sydney's city centre and offers quality viewing for punters having modern three tiered stands with bars, restaurants and betting facilities.
Founded in 1947, the Rosehill Racecourse is home to the richest two-year-old race in the world, the Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes. First held in 1957 the juvenile sprint was won by Todman by an impressive 8 length margin. The prestigious The BMW (2400m) is also held at Rosehill and has been won by champion racehorses such as: Hyperno (1978), Kingston Town (1980), Bonecrusher (1986) and Octagonal (1996 & 97).

Rosehill Racecourse consists of four long sweeping turns and horses that have drawn an inside gate are advantaged. It is difficult to lead all the way when the rail is in the true position, but when the rail is out 4 metres or more, all runners are provided an even opportunity.

How To Get There:
Located about 17kms from the Sydney CBD via the Western Motorway, parking is available on course.
Rosehill Gardens is the only racecourse in Sydney with direct access to a rail line.
A complimentary return shuttle service (marked Races) runs from Parramatta Station to Parramatta Wharf, then to Rosehill Gardens Racecourse. Pick-ups from Parramatta Station (Argyle Street) at 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.00pm, 12.30pm, 1.00pm, 1.30pm. The bus will meet each Ferry that comes in until 1.30pm. Return services from P3 Car Park Bus Stop operate at 3.30pm, 4.30pm, 5.30pm, 6.00pm and 6.30pm to Parramatta Wharf and Parramatta Station on request. Complimentary shuttle bus service does not operate for midweek race meetings.
A complimentary return shuttle service runs from Everton Road Strathfield Station to Rosehill Gardens Racecourse. The shuttle service commences at 10.30am and operates every 30 minutes (dependent on traffic congestion). The last service departs from P3 bus stop James Ruse Drive, Rosehill Gardens at 6.00pm (during Winter) or 6:30pm (during Summer) returning to Strathfield Station. Complimentary shuttle bus service does not operate for midweek race meetings.
ATC Members Coach Service
The Members' Coach service runs for the comfort and convenience of ATC Members. Seats on the coach must be pre-purchased prior to the race day in which you wish travel.
