Sandown Hillside Jumpouts - Tuesday January 16

  • 10 Jumpouts from Sandown Hillside
  • Three promising horses to follow

There were 10 Jumpouts from Sandown on Tuesday Morning and we’ve found three very promising gallopers to follow.

Jump Out 1: 800m - 44.96sec
An intriguing Jumpout to start the morning at Sandown. The star horse in the Jumpout was the Andrew Noblet-trained Super Cash but it was Mick Price’s ‘71 rater’ that stole the show. ARDROSSAN. The three-year-old Colt had two runs in New Zealand before being transferred to the Mick Price yard. On debut, he defeated So Far Sokool who has since been placed in black-type company here in Australia. He then went on to win a Listed race at his second start. Ardrossan and Super Cash matched motors over the 800m before Ardrossan got the upper hand in the concluding stages. He is a very exciting prospect.

Jump Out 2: 800m - 46.09sec
Plenty of class in this Jumpout with the Henry Dwyer pair Crown Witness and Don’t Blush Baby. Crown Witness was just there for a look around and was untested to the line. I was impressed with the speed of the Logan McGill-trained I’M TOO HOT. The four-year-old Gelding has had 11 starts for two wins and three placings. He railed through strongly to lead after Jumping a clear last. He wanted to go quicker throughout the middle stages but when slipped a little reign, quickly had the second horse off the bit and chasing. He was eased to the line and scored a comfortable Jumpout victory. There are better things in store for him this preparation.

Jump Out 6: 800m - 45.09sec
WARWICK is an unraced two-year-old Stratum Gelding that has been moved to the Robert Hickmott yard from Robert Smerdon. He looks a very promising prospect, having won his only public trial at Stony Creek, he was ridden by Craig Williams that day which is an indication of the horse's ability. Warwick jumped straight to the lead here in Jumpout number six and never relinquished that lead under a tight hold.

Blackbookers:

Jumpout 1: ARDROSSAN
Jumpout 2: I'M TOO HOT
Jumpout 6: WARWICK
