Form analyst Trent Orwin previews his best selections for Gloucester Park on Tuesday night.

Race 2 (5:50pm local/7:50pm AEST) – MS PACE – 1730m

Seeknyoushallfind returns to Gloucester Park for the first time since October. He has had four starts this preparation for win and three unplaced efforts.

The smaller field of eight runners suits the five-year-old gelding because he won’t be too far away from the action. I don’t like his chances if he is forced to race in the breeze position but he can run a strong race if he is in the moving line with cover.

His record over this distance reads well and he shouldn’t be too far away.

Seeknyoushallfind if $7+

Rated Price: $7

Race 3 (6:20pm local/8:20pm AEST) – MS PACE – 1730m

Cyclonedomic should appreciate barrier three as he looks to break a 47-start maiden status at Gloucester Park. His last win came in a C1-C3 event at Northam and his recent efforts have been good.

He was placed at Northam last start in a C1-C3 race and dropping back to a C1 might be what is required to notch a victory.

Looking at his effort three starts ago when beaten 5.6m by Abraxas Blues, he finished strongly and appeals at $7 in this field.

Race 5 (7:17pm local/9:17pm AEST) – MS PACE – 2130m

As mentioned in my preview, Loves Me Like A Rock or Chal Storm is the likely winner of the race. There isn’t a lot of value with these two runners so I am looking to back Grinning Fear if the right price is available later in the night.

The six-year-old gelding has had three runs for Sarah Dacey resulting in a second, fifth and third. It was his fifth-placing when beaten 4.7m by Chal Storm that has me intrigued and from barrier three he may be able to grab the 1 out 1 back position behind Chal Storm.

Grinning Fear if $15+

Rated Price: $14

Race 6 (7:47pm local/9:47pm AEST) – DISCRETIONARY HANDICAP SS PACE – 2503m

Donegal Chokin looks one of the leading contenders in an open standing-start event.

He generally steps quickly and if he can do so then he should be in front and looking to stave them off in the home straight.

Expect him to be fitter again third-up and his best form is good enough to take out this C6+ event.

Race 7 (8:15pm local/10:15pm AEST) – MS PACE – 2536m

The Gary Hall Snr-trained Yackandandah has been runner up at his past three starts, with all three coming by a margin of 2.5m or less.

He will either find the lead or race outside of the leader and his recent 1:58.3 effort to breeze outside of Gotta Go Chocolate was good.

Expect him to give a big sight and hopefully prove too strong.
