Victor Chandler Chase odds - Twist Magic 11/8 for Ascot feature

Victor Chandler make the Paul Nicholls-trained Twist Magic an 11/8 favourite to win Saturday’s Victor Chandler Chase at Ascot.

Last year’s runner up, Petit Robin, is available at 5/2 to go one better this year with Well Chief at 6/1 in the 8-strong field.

Nicholls has saddled the favourite in the Victor Chandler Chase every year since 2002, with Twist Magic losing out to Tamarinbleu in 2008 when starting as the odds-on jolly.

Victor Chandler spokesman Neal Wilkins commented: “It’s set up for another cracking race at Ascot and Paul Nicholls will be hoping that Twist Magic can be an able deputy for Master Minded, who destroyed the field last year. We have fielded plenty of money for Nicky Henderson’s Petit Robin, with punters firmly believing he can go one better without Master Minded in the field”
