The Luca Cumani trained Previs is the 3-1 second favourite with bookmakers Coral to win the Hong Kong Cup at Sha-Tin next month.
Cumani’s charge, who was second at Lingfield last weekend, takes on a star studded field in his quest to land the world’s richest race on turf, amongst his opponents will be Hong Kong Derby winner and race favourite, Collection, Prince of Wales’s Stakes winner, Vision D’Etat, and last years winner Eagle Mountain, trained by Mike de Kock.
Meanwhile, Arc runner-up Youmzain is 7-2 with Coral to land the mile and a half Vase, Hong Kong horse of the year Viva Pataca is the 11-4 favourite.
"Once again Sha-Tin has attracted a world class line up for it’s feature races, and even though the meeting comes a few weeks after our domestic season ended, European horses will be hoping to maintain their good record here," said Coral spokesman Gary Burton.
